We're still alive..

.. We have just been super busy!! So this will be pretty long but it'll catch everybody up on everything we've been up to!

Disneyland..

We went to Disneyland for our Anniversary in December. It was SOO much fun. Disneyland is one of my most favorite places to go. The music, the smells, the rides, the characters, seeing the little kids light up when they see the characters (I do the same thing!) We hit all the rides multiple times. We were on Indiana Jones (which is probably my favorite), Pirates (Preston's favorite) and The Haunted Mansion and Soarin over California the most. The weather was perfect, our hotel was across the street from the park so that was very convenient. The longest we had to wait for a ride was 45 minutes, for one ride.. the new Toy Story ride in California Adventure but it was well worth it... such an awesome ride. Other than that ride at the most we waited 20 minutes and a lot of the time we pretty much walked onto any other ride. We also went to a fancy yummy dinner at the Blue Bayou on our anniversary. The Blue Bayou is the restaurant that you can see when you first get onto Pirates. It was very yummy and romantic! Our table looked over the Southern waters as we heard the man down the road play his banjo. You know what I'm talking about if you've been on the ride! We also spent a day at Newport Beach. I LOVE the smell of the ocean and the sand is some good relaxing therapy! Enough of my talking of our magical trip... here are our magical pictures of the most magical place on EARTH!! Seriously, it is!

We got "Happy Anniversary" pins. All throughout the park all the workers would wish us a Happy Anniversary. It was pretty fun!
The one and only... M I C K E Y.. MOUSE!!!!
Watch out Preston!! Monstro the whale is gonna eat ya!

We've been married 3 years now! The years seem to get better and better and I'm so lucky to be married to the most amazing man EVER!!!!

After Disneyland.. We had a fantastic Christmas with both of our families. We're so grateful to have such wonderful families. We got some really awesome gifts but most of all, it's always great to spend time with the families and celebrate the birth of Christ! I don't have pictures of Christmas because I simply forgot my camera wherever we went because I was always loading up gifts and food and last thing to remember was my camera. But we had a wonderful Christmas!

Both of our parents celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary's. We're so grateful to both have such great parents who are awesome examples of happy, loving, faithful and fun marriages. Growing up watching my parents, I've noticed the more and more I am like them now that I'm married. Which is a good thing. And I know Preston has been such a great husband because he's had great parents who he has watched also. We love both of our parents so much and thank them for their great examples of great marriages. in 25 more years, we will have celebrated our 25th and our parents will get to their 50th!! We love you mom and dad! (on both sides :))

We had a little addition come into the Vielstich/Roberts family. Chase and Heidi had their little guy Stockton. He was born on January 9th. 4 weeks early. He's still in the NICU but doing great. He just needs to get his eating down better. He's adorable and such a sweet little guy and we all can't wait for him to be able to go home! Congrats Heidi and Chase and thanks for making me Aunty Andi again! Which by the way... Cadence has said my name she says "Annie" How freaking cute?!

Isn't he adorable? He's bigger and stronger now and is eating a lot better now so hopefully he'll be home this next week?? We're hoping!

Another exciting thing for my family.. My dad was called as Bishop in their ward. We all saw it coming. He's already done such a great job and the Southgate ward is in great hands. My dad is such a strong and great example of faithfulness, services and has one amazing testimony. My mom is such a great support to my dad and her too has a great testimony of the gospel and will be a great "ward mom" as I like to call her. Congratulations again dad. We love you!

And... Preston and I traveled to AZ because Preston got offered an interview with Midwestern University for Pharmacy school. We drove like 26 hours in 2 days in the crappy weather with the crappy slippery roads but we were safe! Preston feels he did really well in his interview so we're hoping to hear back from the school next week and we hope he got in. We know though that whatever is meant to be will happen and if we get into AZ we will be ecstatic. But if we don't, we know that we weren't supposed to go there. I'll keep you all updated! Keep your fingers crossed for us please and if you have room for a little prayer, that would be great too!

Well folks, if you've made it this far, congratulations! I'll try to do better at updating this so it's not this HUGE... LONG blog every time. But that's our update.

Now that it is noon on a Saturday, I better get my tush off the couch and go shower and get stuff done today! We love you all!

Andi
