What a Valentine!!

So, Valentines morning, Preston said, let's play hot and cold until you find your present. He had me ALL over the apartment (not that it's that big) until I found my Valentine present. Let the pictures explain where we went!

That's right folks, we went to the MONSTER TRUCK RALLY!! It was soo much fun! Preston was nervous I'd be mad at him for taking me here for Valentines because it's not romantic but it was total opposite. It was so much fun! We also had a nice dinner at the gateway and went early enough to beat the crazy crowds!
It was an awesome day, since it was Saturday and neither of us work Saturdays, we were able to hang out all day!
Well, just thought I'd show off our awesome date for Valentines!

...I love to see the temple...

Preston and I had the opportunity to go to the temple with our ward members this last Saturday. It was nice. We always just go by ourselves each month because our ward always goes when Preston is in school so it was really fun to get to go with them. This weekend was ward conference, it was such a great 3 hours. We were taught by our stake leaders and they gave such great and spiritual lessons. It was a bitter sweet sacrament meeting because we got a new bishopric. Preston and I have loved our bishopric since our first Sunday there. What great men. But we know the new bishopric will be great and that they are meant to do the work! Along with this great Sunday, Elder Nelson from the quorum of the 12 was there presiding. 3 of his kids are in our ward and he has mentioned he has had 21 grandchildren in our ward. He's come quite a bit. I think he's been there about 5-6 times since we've been in the ward. He was here this past Sunday because his Son in law (the bishop) was being released. It's really neat to see him there as a dad or grandpa. He of course always closes the meeting with some remarks. What a great man! It was just a really great and uplifting weekend! Side note... Preston and I went and saw the Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Bradd Pitt.... AMAZING! I highly recommend it!

The beautiful Jordan River Temple

I love my naps!!! Except I got awoken so rudly (sp) by Preston who snapped this shot... All I have to say about this is... If only my hair looked that good every time I sleep haha.

We're still alive!

Alright, just a quick update! We're still doing great and keepin busy. Preston started another semester of school a couple weeks ago and so far he's enjoying his classes and getting good scores on his homework and tests. We're hoping he can do as good as he did last semester by acing the whole semester! He's a genius and actually likes school! He's doing great at work and recently just got a good raise which is always very nice and very helpful. I'm still really liking my new job... I've already been there 3 months! Time sure flies. People at my work are SOO cool and so fun and it's a great company! Preston and I have been spending time with our families and friends which is always a blast! We have the best people in our lives and always love being with our friends and family. We get to go to the big kid class now at church, after being primary teachers for a year and a half, we are now substitutes, our bishopric said "we can't let you go completely out of primary because you're so reliable and the kids love you, but we want to give you the opportunity to learn from relief society and elders quorum." We LOVE our ward! Everybody is so loving and so nice and so friendly, we have made some great friends in our ward and we'll be so sad the day we'll have to leave. We especially love those little kids, we have grown so close to the kids in the ward and they are always coming up to hug us. The first 3 weeks of this year, we taught the cute little sunbeams until they got a full time teacher and the 4th week, the first week of us going into the big kids class, we saw one of our little sunbeams in the foyer after sacrament and we went up to say hi to him and he looks up at us and says "where were you today, I was loong ALLL over for you" gosh, it made me miss those kids so much already! They're so sweet and really do teach us alot! They're such little smarty pants and we know all their family secrets hahaha.
Preston and I also have had the opportunity to attend a couple baptisms and a blessing for our little cousins. What fun experiences. Preston even gave a talk at one about the Holy Ghost to the little kids getting baptized. He did great! I think him being in primary so long really helped him relate to those kids and give a talk on their level.
So, not much has changed for us! We're just enjoying life and keeping busy and love being with eachother! There is a little update for ya! Hopefully the next one, we'll have pictures! Well, time to go watch my weekly Ghost Hunters with my mom and little sister lili. It's been real yo!
Ciao!
