Can't think of a title for this post!

Just a little update. A couple weeks ago the girls from High School and myself all got together at Jenn's house for good food and of course... FUN! I LOVE these girls! A couple of them I've known for pretty much my whole life. These girls are the best and they are great friends! Thanks Jenn for letting us come over!
Heidi, Shannon (and Logan), Ali, Jenn, Crissi, Heather, and me!

Yesterday (Saturday) We got to go to the new Draper Temple open house! Wow, what a beautiful building. We were in awe the whole time. It was so awesome! I'm so glad we had the opportunity to go see it! After the temple, we went with Preston's family to dinner to a really good BBQ place called Good Wood in Draper! It was SOO good! And huge portions too! It was Preston's dad's birthday so we went to celebrate! It's always a fun time with them. After dinner, since they were down here by us, we had cake and ice cream and did presents at our place and watched a movie! It was a really nice time! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! And also a Happy Birthday shout out to Chase whose birthday was also yesterday!!
The beautiful temple. It's taken from the bus, so it's not the greatest picture. But still an awesome building!Birthday boy blowing out ALL his candles! heheOpening presents! Jess, mom, dadPresents!!!US!

What a Valentine!!

So, Valentines morning, Preston said, let's play hot and cold until you find your present. He had me ALL over the apartment (not that it's that big) until I found my Valentine present. Let the pictures explain where we went!

That's right folks, we went to the MONSTER TRUCK RALLY!! It was soo much fun! Preston was nervous I'd be mad at him for taking me here for Valentines because it's not romantic but it was total opposite. It was so much fun! We also had a nice dinner at the gateway and went early enough to beat the crazy crowds!
It was an awesome day, since it was Saturday and neither of us work Saturdays, we were able to hang out all day!
Well, just thought I'd show off our awesome date for Valentines!

...I love to see the temple...

Preston and I had the opportunity to go to the temple with our ward members this last Saturday. It was nice. We always just go by ourselves each month because our ward always goes when Preston is in school so it was really fun to get to go with them. This weekend was ward conference, it was such a great 3 hours. We were taught by our stake leaders and they gave such great and spiritual lessons. It was a bitter sweet sacrament meeting because we got a new bishopric. Preston and I have loved our bishopric since our first Sunday there. What great men. But we know the new bishopric will be great and that they are meant to do the work! Along with this great Sunday, Elder Nelson from the quorum of the 12 was there presiding. 3 of his kids are in our ward and he has mentioned he has had 21 grandchildren in our ward. He's come quite a bit. I think he's been there about 5-6 times since we've been in the ward. He was here this past Sunday because his Son in law (the bishop) was being released. It's really neat to see him there as a dad or grandpa. He of course always closes the meeting with some remarks. What a great man! It was just a really great and uplifting weekend! Side note... Preston and I went and saw the Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Bradd Pitt.... AMAZING! I highly recommend it!

The beautiful Jordan River Temple

I love my naps!!! Except I got awoken so rudly (sp) by Preston who snapped this shot... All I have to say about this is... If only my hair looked that good every time I sleep haha.
